Phew made it.. just !

Phew.. what a week it has been ! Very tiring and very trying for sure..But i have made it through and just taking a well earned break.

So i decided to make the entry for WW1s challenge.. wasnt sure about entering this one as its a little similar to everyone elses.. so took my time in deciding, but thought why not give it a go !
I havent had much time to do many challenges this month, but i thought this one sounded fun.
This is a very different take for me, as i have a problem with layering flowers and so i just found some time to play around with some prima flowers and this is the result..

Most of the flowers are prima... i just love pretty prima flowers and just a few bits and pieces i had in my stash.. had quite a bit in pink i didnt even know.. lol. Probably needed splashes of pink paint thrown on but my pink wasnt right and i thought i would muck it up..sometimes its best to just leave it be.

The journalling reads :

I think i like this one personally. If you know me well, you know i am very girly and i love pink, so this really couldnt be any more up my alley..lol, but i have always had a hard time layering flowers so have steered clear of them until now.. but i think i like this style, so i will keep going. Its fiddly and a little time consuming, but once i "get it" i am happy to stick down straight away and leave it. Funny how that happens huh? Mind you this may become expensive lol..

Oh well thats it from me today.. two posts in one day !!

I am off to prepare for tonight and go giggle at my little man whos watching giggle n hoot.. he just loves that show.. !

Hi all ...

Its been a really hectic week here.. so much to do at the end of the month usually and this month no different just harder cause we have all been sick with different things this month.. grrrr... hate that !

I want to blog more, its just that i actually have been enjoying my time scrapping and have done some that i have been really happy with lately so i am on a roll.. lol.

Onto news..

I had so much fun with that one, thanks Eve for another fanastic colour combo !  I would really advise you to look at this one as it was so much fun to do.. and easy peasy and suits most styles..

I have done my Scrapbookits (scrapwithv) first dt pack.. so that was rather exciting and such a diverse kit too. I am heading over to wicked princesses tonight for their cybercrop starts at 7.30pm - i loved it last time i played but was too busy for that last one. i have had serious scrapbooking withdrawls the last week or so and want to scrap.. just need some motivation so hopefully the crop will do that !

Oh and the grandfinal is here in Melb, as is the GF in Rugby, so with Daz being a Collingwood supporter (reckons Dawson will be the next Buckley...lol!) its a big deal here in this household.

Friday night will be nervewracking but come 2.00 pm tommorrow he will be unbearable.. lol.

 Mind you the kids couldnt care less, but Darrel woke them up last Friday night so i am taking them to see the other mad hatter my mum and leave him to his own devices so we dont have to put up with the kicking and screaming.  Last year we had a gf party, but this year we decided to have a quieter day..

Hi all !!!

Hi Everyone..

I have some news that i now can post.. drumroll please..


I am on the BLACK WITH 2 design team and i am SO excited !!
Eve Sheppard has revamped the site and there are some exciting things planned so make sure you go over and check it out here.. Black with 2.

I have had to keep this a little secret (so hard when youre so excited- LOL) and Eve said that she would announce it soon so when she posted it up i thought i would too .. as now i can..
Anyway, i cant reveal anything yet but i tell you - this team is brillant and i am SO honoured to be working with these talented ladies.. still cant believe she chose me.. lol!

So, now i am on 2 dt teams and am kept busy for now. I really have my hands full with them both and the kids so my cup is fulleth so to speak.. he he.

The kids are great - Trinity is coming out with new words all the time and  the latest is "more".
Dawson is great and growing more each day - hes such a little cutie. I am so lucky hes so easy going.

I am going shopping tommorrow and getting Trinity a bathing suit tommorrow and will be taking her myself to the pools.. the blind leading the blind.. lol. I am not the best swimmer as anyone knows me will tell you, but i can swim and i think just getting her into the water will be a challenge in itself. So in order to avoid a scene i thought i would take her to get used to the water and then it will make it easier. I dont want her thrown in the water like i was at school - it scarred me and i have had a fear of the water for a long time now which i have only just overcome.

Am thinking about going back to school - nursing or social work ? Have no idea yet need to do more research and find out a bit more about what both involve.

On the wedding front we have just brought a new ring ( i cant wear my other one) and am looking forward to planning our engagement.

Next month we are planning to visit some places here on the peninsula for our reception, so hopefully we will find what we want..

Sounds like Trinity is destroying the house as i write so i better go..

I will post up one of the designs i did for BW2 ( i did 2)  in the next few days, plus another dt layout for Scrapbook Kits. Formerly Scrap with V.

Busy Busy Busy mad house..

Oh it has been a madhouse here lately, Daz has been sick and so have the kids and me..
It has taken us all ages to get over it, and Trinity is now teething really badly.. so grumpy, it never ends huh?
Dawson is a little gem, just happily playing and sleeping, hes just gorgeous.

Anyway i have managed to get my DT work done for Scrapbookkits..(scrapwithv) which is good as i never thought i would get it done.. lol.

So here it is :

 So what else is going on this month ?

* My sis is overseas at the moment, having a blast for her birthday .. so jealous.. i just hope she comes back safely.

* I am thinking of studying again.. have to find more information out yet hopefully we can afford it.

* Darrels cousin is coming to visit from england.. so excited..we just have to see when shes coming but it should be around the end of the year.. i have never met her but talk to her on Fb alot.. so we are all excited.

* Wanting to get Trinity into swimming lessons, and dancing or music lessons and we are starting potty training next weekend lol. Its getting full on around here..lol.

* With the somewhat warmer weather approaching we are getting out more and more which is nice and Trins able to play outside.

Heres the latest pics of the kids taken just yesterday - Trins just in love with her brother at the moment but i have to watch them together though - she doesnt realise shes much stronger than him and could suffocate him, but its just so cute that she loves him.. His face just lights up when shes around.. just beuatiful - i'll enjoy it before the inevitable fights start.. when he gets older.

Hello MOJO ! Where you been?

Dont you just love it when ideas come together? I do.
Mojo is back honey - in a big way lol..
I love looking at all the delightful inspiration out there and being so inspired myself to sit down wth one of my sketches and just scrap.
I am by no means good, but i try and i just love that the ideas are there (thank everyone) and its flowing again. I am inspired by so many people, places, things, my family and products. I am beginning to just soak up whats around me and just create again - its so nice to be doing what i love again..without any real pressure, except my kids lol.
I do find i scrap my best under pressure and if i want to get a page down. Its like this incessant need..lol.
So, without further adue, heres my latest layout.

This is for Kraft It Up. their july challenge..

You had to include the colours from this.. so i was inspired by the number of cupcakes, and the colours and i included these on the layout. I also loved the flowers as well.

Thanks KIU for a great challenge.. loved it, as i dont usually scrap those colours with kraft, mainly white..

I wasnt sure about this one at first, spent a bit of time on it as i wasnt sure about the kraft and the colours working for me,but i am happy with the result and love this photo of Trin..

So loving misting and painting lol.. i guess its showing.. :)

Not much else to report, scrap that song is getting more followers which is great and i hope you can play along with us. Also the ct call and july challenge is still on and only a few more days to go.. so if you havent joined it yet why not give it a go..

Woo Hooo.. !!! Another one to share and some exciting news.

Woo Hoo !  I am loving scrapping again and my mojo is back in full swing.
Mind you, it helps that i have a scrapping muse whos cute as a button. I am lovng the STB challenges and i have been hanging out to do some..
I am getting such great shots at the moment of Dawson growing and learning, its such a beautiful sight.
As much i am complaining about the early starts and the feeds, he is such a happy and delightful little boy who makes gorgeous noises and never really gives us much trouble unlike his sister, lol.

Giggle and Play.

 I am really enjoying getting messy with my paints. A few of my past layouts have been like this - i think its becoming an addiction in itself at the moment.
Mind you they are very simple at the moment - another thing i am enjoying as with 2 small kids i dont have time to stuff around. Paints and mists dry really quickly so its easy to do. I have always been a fast scrapper once i have my idea, in some senses, but even more so now. I have been scrapping some sketches i have done in the past that i never released and this has made it so easy to get some pages down.
I am loving playing around with different styles and some of the layouts i have done have been really fun to do and the more traditional ones look quite involved, but they are still completed withn 2 hrs so thats not bad.

DT NEWS :

Well i think its okay to announce this - i have been accepted to design for Scrap with V.
I was just glancing at the email thinking it was a rejection email, (had plenty of these lately from SM) that i had to re read it to make sure they were saying welcome.. lol.
I am so excited to have been chosen for the Aussie Team and am working with some very talented ladies both here in Oz and around the world...wow there is some huge talent out there..
Cant wait to get started. !!! Thanks for having me aboard Julie.
